I have always wanted to live exactly where I wanted to.
For my wife and I, this is an area that is typically a vacation spot.
We fell head over heels for this place after we visited some years ago. And, it was just something that neither of us could ever shake. So, we started looking up sites that allowed us to check out the housing situation. Unfortunately, there just wasn’t much out there. But the feeling was so strong, we decided that a short term rental might be just the thing. We knew that we wanted to live in this area and our lease was coming up. Both of us then secured jobs in this are so, it made sense to make the move to a short term rental situation. A short term lease would allow us the ability to live here while looking for a permanent housing solution. Going with a furnished apartment for rent allowed us to leave all our stuff in the house we were selling. That meant when we did sell our home, our belongings would simply be packed up and moved into storage. Without the short term apartment rental option, it would have been so hard to make our situation work out. Being able to take advantage of having a furnished living space on a month to month lease allowed us to get to where we wanted to be. It will happen. The right house is out there. But for now, I sure am thankful for this short term rental.
