I hate asking my daughter to do anything.
She has more excuses for not getting her chores done than I had when I was her age.
She seems to have more plans for her time than I could ever know of. I don’t know how she can find time to date her girlfriend; she seems to consistently be so busy. Last week, I asked him to help me disinfect the air vents. It is nothing more than taking the air vents off, scrubbing them, plus putting the vacuum hose inside the air vent. This helps to disinfect out the dust plus dirt that accumulates deep inside. I had to remind him more than 2 times before she finally found the time to get the work done for me. She told me she had it all handled when I asked him the second time. She said she had the plans all set plus they would do the air vents on Sunday. When Sunday arrived, she said she had to go to basketball practice, but she would be lake loft by noon. Right before she showed up, an Heating plus Air Conditioning repair van pulled up in the yard. She got out of the van along with another young lady That’s when I found out why she had been so busy lately. She didn’t tell me she had signed up for Heating plus Air Conditioning classes, or that she had earned her certification. She said she wanted to surprise me, plus she brought her fellow apprentice with him. They were going to disinfect the entire ductwork proposal along with the air vents. Her supervisor showed up a couple minutes later. I was wondering how much she was going to charge me for the cleaning.
