A few months ago, my husband and I converted our garage into a fitness room.
We hired a contractor to help renovate the room and build a bathroom. The contractor also installed a ductless mini-split AC unit. The ductless mini-split AC unit worked great for the first few months, but it’s been making a strange sound lately. I don’t think that the ductless mini-split AC is working properly either. Even though the temperature gauge says that it is 72 degrees in the room, it feels much warmer. I’m not sure why we’re having trouble, but the ductless mini-split AC unit is still under warranty. I told my husband to call the AC contractor on his day off. We talked about it for ten minutes in the morning before I went to work. Still, he forgot to make the call. The very next day, the mini-split AC unit stopped working altogether and it was a really hot day. I was mad at my husband for not calling when I mentioned the problem. I called him at work and I yelled on the phone for five minutes. I had to wait all day before the AC contractor could come to the house. Thankfully, the guy was really nice and he fixed the issue in an hour. He didn’t charge me anything for the service at all, since the equipment is still under warranty. When my husband got home from work, he brought me flowers and candy. He thought I was still going mad. To be honest, I was just happy everything was working again.
