When I was still living at lake home with my Dad plus dad, my dad used to show us how to fix all kinds of things, then she was definitely nice at fixing things around the new home and also on cars, too.
She used to fix turf mowers, chainsaws, refrigerators, gas furnaces, and a/cs for all kinds of people in our village! Occasionally she charged them a couple of dollars, however a lot of the time she would do it for free just because she knew that they might be struggling financially.
My father was definitely great about doing stuff like that for people who were having a hard time, and i remember once when this lady came plus asked him if she could fix her old and broken down oil gas furnace for her, and she was a widow plus she had five youngsters to take care of. It was almost Winter time plus the temperatures outside were now cooling down a lot plus she said that she couldn’t afford to pay the women at the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company to come plus fix the gas furnace for her. Since my dad knew how to fix just about everything, she went over to her home to take a look at the oil gas furnace. She figured out the problem plus got the heated gas furnace up plus working again before the first snowfall of the year. I will never be able to forget the look on that lady’s face when she told her that she wasn’t going to charge her anything for fixing the gas furnace. My dad was definitely nice at fixing things, but she was also just a definitely nice woman.
