Nobody bothered to call for a repair service

My boss hired a new guy to labor as our assistant supervisor.

I wanted to have a say in the process, but our boss was not interested in hearing any of our ideas; He hired an assistant supervisor separate from asking for our opinion on the process.

I hoped the assistant supervisor would labor out, but it does not look prefer this guy wants to work! Last Monday, I came to labor in the afternoon to labor the hour shift, however as soon as I walked into the building, I could tell there was a complication with the indoor air. It was honestly hot and uncomfortable. Went to the office to talk to the assistant supervisor. The guy told myself and others that the air conditioner was having problems all afternoon. I wanted to guess when the repair dealer would arrive to labor on the air conditioner. The assistant supervisor never called anyone to repair the AC. I had to make the call and I could not get someone to help until the next afternoon. Last Wednesday, our assistant supervisor didn’t show up for labor until 2 hours after the shift was supposed to begin. The guy barely made an excuse and he didn’t even try to lie. I do not think this new guy is going to labor out. He does not seem to have a wonderful labor ethic and he does not seem to love the task. This is the exact reason why I wanted to have some input in the hiring process. It will not be long before every one of us have to substitute this guy with someone new.
