I suppose there are times in life where you have to make the more risky transfer in order to get where you entirely want to be. That is a truth that I am comfortable with & embrace. It’s just that I wasn’t ready for how frightening a choice love that can absolutely be. However, thus far, following our heart has proved to be the right choice. The sizable choice for change I’m referring to is that I recently left our job to go out on our own. While I have longed to be our own boss, the reality of doing so was fraught with risk. I loved our job. I loved the perfectly Heating & A/C controlled office that I worked from. I even loved all the effort & energy that went in to doing what I did. So after years of careful planning, I left that perfectly Heating & A/C controlled office behind to go it alone. Part of that plan meant that I would have to make sure to keep our overhead to almost none in order to survive. This meant that I would have to work out of our home initially & perhaps for a honestly long time. After thinking it through with our partner, the two of us chose to use a spare bedroom for our office. It was fantastic as far as space. And, it was at the furthest end of the home which would offer me some privacy. However, it was also quite uncomfortable. The room was at the end of the home & exposed on 3 sides. That meant sizzling in the Summer & cold in the winter. Manipulating the entire Heating & A/C system for just our office was not going to work. So, I had the Heating & A/C people put in a ductless Heating & A/C component for just our office.
