The envelope with the oil furnace section was in the mailbox

I ordered a small section for the oil furnace in my house.

I knew exactly why the oil furnace wasn’t working and I did not have to pay an costly repair bill to maintenance it.

I grew up reading how to maintenance machines and the oil furnace was 1 item that I knew well. I did not hesitate to repair the oil furnace on my own when it stopped working. I suddenly realized the small section that needed to be upgraded, unluckyly, none of the oil furnace repair companies would sell me the part. They wanted to send a licensed and certified serviceman with the part. That means I would be forced to pay for a work bill that I did not need. The only place I could find the oil furnace section was online. I had free 2-day shipping, so I did not have to wait that long for the new section to arrive. In the meantime, I ran the fireplace and the space heating system to keep the place warm. On the afternoon that the oil furnace section was supposed to arrive, I gained an SMS from the company. Inside the SMS was a confirmation that the package was delivered. I never heard anyone knock on the door, so I suddenly went to the front porch to look for my package. I did not see it anywhere. I started to get frustrated and I decided to call the company. That’s when I found out that it was in an envelope in the mailbox. The oil furnace section was small and lightweight, so there was no reason to ship it inside a immense box.
