Our HVAC company did all kinds of good deeds during the shutdowns from the coronavirus. One of the best things that they did was to give out free air filters during the shutdowns because they wanted everyone to have great indoor air quality in their homes during the pandemic. I thought that this was a really good way to help support the community and to show that we were thinking about them and trying to help everyone stay healthy. The thoughts of people out there worrying about the indoor air quality in their homes at that time was really concerning for most of us HVAC professionals at a time like that. I know that most people don’t think all that much about their heating and cooling systems most of the time. However, whenever you’re hearing all kinds of things on the news and the radio about airborne viruses and germs, you can’t help but start to think about how you can improve your own home’s indoor air quality for your sake and for the sake of your family. That’s why I’m really glad that the HVAC company that I work for decided to take the initiative and give away all of those new, nice quality air filters for people in our area. Not only was it the right thing to do at that time for the good of the community, but I think it also built up our customer loyalty. We are busier now with heating and cooling installation and maintenance calls than we ever were prior to the pandemic!
