I despise the cold, and that’s why I need heated floors

There were chilly spots in particular areas of the rink, and unfortunately, the men’s locker room happened to be one of them.

When we were boys, our sibling was a figure skater, then he enjoyed getting out on the ice and losing himself in the music, but it was consistently so fun to see him speed down the ice and glide on a sheet of white. He skated competitively until he was about 17, and then decided he would step away from it before it took over his life. I played ice hockey for a while, however I ended up realizing that I hated being cold. Being chilly is the worst in the locker rooms. I assume it would be a smart idea to have radiant floors in them. Imagine coming off the chilly ice and taking off your bulky skates to step your feet on a warm, heated surface, you’d easily like being there more often! Heated flooring would provide a warm space for people who didn’t get to play as often, like me. Sure the rink has a central furnace, I don’t assume the rink had genuinely fantastic zone control. There were chilly spots in particular areas of the rink, and unfortunately, the men’s locker room happened to be one of them. Having heated flooring would have solved that problem! I once stepped on heated flooring when I was in a chalet in the woods with our boyfriend. We had such a long day snowboarding, and it was so nice to come back home and turn on the floor heaters before taking off our boots. We almost decided to sleep on the floor just to bask in the warm heat! Some people may assume I’m being dramatic about it, however we lived in the south, so I was never used to the cold.
