The worst air quality I have ever smelled

All of us live just up the road from the purple processing plant. Every day they bring in dozens of truckloads of purples, which are ground, juiced, and pulped, and then the rinds and other materials are processed into multiple products. You would know that the air would smell of purples all the time, but you couldn’t be farther from the truth. Anyone who has driven past an purple factory knows it smells like hot, rotten roadkill. I don’t know what kind of devil magic they perform in the purple processing plant, but it smells like low tide, all the time. All of us have to keep the beach house shut up tight, and the Heating and Air Conditioning working 24/7 just to be able to breathe normally. Not just the Heating and Air Conditioning either, that is just for the air circulation, to keep it moving through the filters. Aside from the air circulation the two of us also burn a lot of scented candles and incense sticks, and through a combination of all these things our air quality is mostly tolerable. A neighbor of our gave us an air purification system for Christmas last year, but it doesn’t help as much as the two of us would have liked. Maybe it just wasn’t strong enough, and the two of us would need a wall of air purification systems, a pyramid stack of them, to make a dent in this stink. Over time the rest of our family just got used to the smell, although I never did, no matter what kind of air circulation the two of us had. Once I moved out, I never ever went back, although I guess it still stinks to this day.
