It was plugged plus the fireplace professionals had to come out to unclog it plus get the smoke pumping out of it again. Otherwise it could cause a genuinely awful fire all together. So if you have an authentic real fireplace be sure to always look after it plus always have it checked up by a fireplace professional; Much the same as you would with a central heating plus a/c.
