I genuinely don’t like it when these darn door to door sales people simply ignore signs, however i have a sign nailed to my front door that clear as morning says “no solicitations”, which means take your door to door sales elsewhere because I am not interested! I genuinely don’t like it when these darn door to door sales people simply ignore signs, however i have a sign nailed to my front door that clear as morning says “no solicitations”, which means take your door to door sales elsewhere because I am not interested! Recently, I had some 2 bit cheap heating plus a/c company ignore this fact plus came banging on my door. I decided to answer it because I do find it interesting to see what kind of scams these door to door rip off artists are running from time to time, however, this was different. I was genuinely ecstatic that they were rude enough to ignore my sign plus bang on my door, plus I am ecstatic I answered… Because this what I thought was a 2 bit heating plus a/c company happened to be a single of the biggest heat plus a/c companies in town! And the only reason they were doing door to door sales was because they were trying to reach people in a weird way rather than telephone, but they were genuinely offering a really good, even-handed plus fantastic priced heat plus a/c service plan! I genuinely signed up for it; And to think, had they not ignored the sign on my door plus had I not answered I would have majorly missed out on this fantastic Heating plus Air Conditioning service system deal! This was a a single off fluke that will not happen again i’m sure. I still will not be accepting solicitations, but like I said, this was just a a single off fluke all together.
