My neighbor is constantly kind enough to let myself and others borrow some of their things, & they constantly seem to be prepared, no matter what kind of situation they are in.
This weekend, I ended up in a awful situation. The heating & a/c equipment I have is still fairly new, at only a few years old, & yet for some reason it quit laboring. I tried some troubleshooting methods myself, however nothing seemed to get it laboring again. Although I already knew that most heating & air conditioner suppliers were going to be closed over the weekend, I maintained online anyways, & unluckyly as I had upset about, they were all already closed. Now if it wasn’t for the fact that it has been incredibly hot outside, I wouldn’t have minded going without a/c that much. However, it has been nothing short of burning hot outside, & I knew our beach house would soon match that temperature. It was then all of us remembered our neighbor had a portable air conditioner & when I asked about it, they confirmed that they still had it. I asked if I could borrow it, & our neighbor happily obliged. The portable HVAC component may not have been as powerful as the central a/c, however it was enough to last myself and others the rest of the weekend, until the official heating & a/c dealers were back open again. I was cheerful to have that portable HVAC device, otherwise I would have been stuck perspiring to death without it!
