For a long time, I knew next to nothing about heating and cooling machines.
However, I knew that it was going to be something that I would have to learn as soon as I started experiencing troubles with my heating and air conditioning unit.
Sure enough, after living on my own for a few years, I had my very first issue with a HVAC air conditioner, and that was a strange noise it was making. Not only was the cooling device making a strange noise, but it also wasn’t cooling the home as efficiently as it usually does. I didn’t want to take a chance that it could be something serious, and so I called the HVAC business to send out a heating and cooling worker. When the HVAC technician arrived, he asked me some questions but I honestly didn’t know the answers because of my limited HVAC knowledge. Thankfully the heating and A/C tech was incredibly kind and very helpful. He helped explain the basics of heating and A/C to me, and put it in a very easy to understand way. Furthermore, he also gave me a guide that explained the basic functions of an air conditioner and heating unit and how they work. This was incredibly nice, and as I read the guide, it began to make a lot of sense. Thanks to the nice HVAC worker, I understand things with HVAC technology much better now. It is actually not nearly as hard as I originally thought it was.
