Over the years, I have noticed the heating equipment getting less plus less efficient.
It wasn’t so noticeable when it first started, but when it took over an hour to heat our apartment to the regular temperature, then it was not only becoming silly but it was undoubtedly noticeable that something was wrong.
I didn’t want to call out a heating specialist just yet, I wanted to see if I could solve the issue myself first. I knew 1 of the issues could be the control unit, because the control unit was quite old. So I went online to the local heating plus a/c store, plus purchased a smart control unit online. I paid for expedited shipping, plus it was here in 2 afternoons. When it arrived I opened it up plus installed it myself without issue. However, much to our disappointment, that wasn’t the cause of the issue. I tried turning the equipment on plus off, plus cleaning plus maintaining it, but nothing was working. So I knew it was time to get a professional’s opinion. The heating plus a/c worker that I called undoubtedly was able to come out the same day, plus look plus poke around at our Heating plus Air Conditioning device. After looking closer, he told myself and others it wasn’t an issue with our furnace system, it was an issue with the ductwork. Repairing the ductwork was incredibly fancy, that I knew, so I was really hoping that it was a minor issue. Thankfully it was, it just had some holes that needed to be patched up, something that is really repairable.
