Moving to a uncommon world brings all manner of culture shocks.
My partner, our seven-year-old son, and I took a opportunity and moved to another area of the world, where the weather was honestly different.
I remember a few months before all of us moved, I did a thorough internet search on every Heating and Air Conditioning supplier in that venue that I could find online, such as how much they charged for complete gas furnace/heater tune-up. I also looked at the quality Heating and Air Conditioning equipment that the Heating and Air Conditioning tech has to offer. When all of us moved, I was shocked to realize other than companies, factories, and honestly few significant buildings, the rest of the people did not have any heating and air conditioning systems. Heating businesss were not well known among the locals simply because they did not need a gas furnace/heater replacement in their home, and most did not even believe what that was. A small percentage had a boiler method for their boiling water needs, and that was all. One or multiple people had a portable space heater, mainly the new young mothers. Being an Heating and Air Conditioning provider was not much of a successful venture compared to where all of us lived. My new neighbor did not believe what a temperature control component was. At least they were some energy-saving tips however mostly on lighting. When all of us first moved, all of us thought of installing hydronic heating for the floor since our child was consistently lying on the chilly tiles and also for quality heating, however after some time, all of us saw it as an unnecessary expense and bought rugs instead. The upside was that all of us would no longer have to pat the Heating and Air Conditioning repairman for gas furnace/heater repair. There was honestly no need for a whole house gas furnace.
