When I first wake up in the brutally frigid Wintertide mornings & go to take a shower the washroom is also freezing cold.
It doesn’t matter if the central heating is cranked or not.
There is just something about our washroom that the heating just does not reach. I am going to be going out this year before the Wintertide starts & getting myself a nice portable space heater… What I will do then is when I first wake up in the morning I will turn on the portable space furnace & get our breakfast made. Then when that is done the portable space furnace would have warmed up the washroom by then & I can take a quick shower without freezing our tail off. I had thought about possibly investing in radiantly heated floors. But with the cost of those being very expensive just for a single room & the cost of a portable space furnace being under a single hundred bucks, I decided that the new portable space furnace was the better option of it all. It pretty much would supply the same heating but so much cheaper to buy! Also, today’s portable space heating systems are so powerful I could also use the portable space furnace to heat a whole room in the home in the event there was ever a heater & a/c method breakdown in the middle of a snow storm or frigid front. It would make it so I did not have to request any emergency heating & a/c repairs & save a few bucks.
