The one thing I have been trying to do lately is to save money on my monthly energy bills.
I have found that the reason they are always so high is because of running my central heating and air conditioning system a lot.
And the fact that the seer rating on my central heating and air conditioning system isn’t the top doesn’t help. However I found a great energy saving tip on a website I was reading the other day. They said that if you buy a portable air conditioning system and a portable space heater you can reduce your electric bill by almost half! I wanted to give this a try. So I went out and bought a portable air conditioning system to start. Since it is summer now and hot out this was the best thing to do. I have been using the portable air conditioning system in combo with my central air conditioning system and on the first bill I already saw a 40 percent reduction! So this tells me that the energy savings tip on the website I was reading was certainly correct. This means that I will now go out and buy a portable space heater for when the cold winter comes. I already know that since the portable air conditioning system is working that the portable space heater will work just the same in reducing the electric bills. And with today’s heat and a/c technology the portable space heater and the portable air conditioning system is powerful enough to heat and cool entire rooms the same as the central heat and a/c does.
