When all of us first moved down here, all of us were both enthusiastic with the winters and overwhelmed with the summers.
For sure, not having a gas oil furnace running non stop all Winter was a superb thing.
And the fact that all of us could get outside the central a/c of our house during the Winter was so incredible. Having lived all of our lives in a region where all of us were stuck inside the Heating, Ventilation & A/C heating for months and months, this was a liberation of sorts. But it came with a shocking realization when it came to summer. For sure, all of us knew it was going to be much hotter moving down here. Yet, a single certainly does have to experience it to understand just how intense the heat and humidity can be. That led us to spend much of the time from June through September inside the Heating, Ventilation & A/C cooling of the office or home. And that’s sort of counter to what all of us wanted to do. For a single thing, there are just so several cool things to do around here that are outside. And a person can do this stuff early in the moring or late in the evening no matter how tepid it gets. But all of us just got to addicted to the a/c. So on the advice of a native, all of us waited until it got in the 90’s before all of us cranked up the a/c. And not only did this help us actemperature and accept the heat, it saved us more than 30 percent on our Heating, Ventilation & A/C cooling bills.
