I can’t get good cell phone service on the northside of town.
It’s not a huge problem unless I have a job on that side of town.
On Tuesday, I had to go to a HVAC repair. I entered the address into my GPS and it was supposed to take 30 minutes to get to the address. I gathered all of the HVAC parts that I needed for the job and I headed out to the job site. I lost cell phone coverage when I was at the top of the mountain and I still had three more miles to drive. When I realized I was going to lose service, I stopped on the side of the road and called the customer. I let the woman know that I was on my way and out of cell phone reach now. I also asked the woman if she could give me any identifying landmarks just in case I got lost on my way. Without my cell phone, I was going to be on able to call her again for any more information. Thankfully the homeowner gave me great directions. She pointed out exactly where I should get off of the highway and she told me that her driveway was only a few miles away. She gave me excellent landmarks and descriptions and I didn’t have a single problem finding her place. The HVAC repair turned out to be a really easy fix and I only spent about an hour up there without any cell phone coverage. When I came back down the mountain, my phone returned to 5G service.
