When my niece last came to see me a week ago, she was ecstatic to be spending time in a new location.
Because I live in a warmer region of the country and she loves the outdoors, we are currently experiencing nice weather.
She is very adventurous and loves to be outside. The outside has been warm, with temperatures rising into the upper 80s, but because of the low humidity, it feels like heaven. One of the best seasons of the year for weather is undoubtedly spring. I wanted to be certain that I had our schedule planned out because my niece was going to be staying with me for a full week. Call me a control freak, but having an understanding of the day’s schedule just made life easier. I took her to the park on the first day, the beach on the second, and I wanted to do something educational on the third day, but it didn’t work out that way. When we arrived at the library, it was closed due to a malfunctioning HVAC system, contrary to my plans to take her there for a fun workshop. Despite the pleasant weather, I can understand why the library would have to close due to HVAC problems. The HVAC system provides adequate ventilation in addition to heating and cooling. A buildup of pollutants in the air without adequate ventilation can make indoor air quality dangerous. Breathing problems as well as other problems can develop with inadequate ventilation over time. I ultimately decided to take my niece to a museum with a functional HVAC system because the workshop was abruptly cancelled.
