My niece visited me a week ago, and she was ecstatic to be spending time in a new location.
She is very outdoorsy and adventurous, and fortunately for me, I live in a warmer region of the country where the weather is currently pleasant.
Even though it has been hot outside, with highs in the upper 80s, the low humidity makes it feel like heaven. Spring is unquestionably one of the seasons of the year with the best weather. I wanted to make sure that I had our schedule planned out because my niece was staying with me for a full week. Call me a control freak, but knowing what was planned for the day just made things easier. I took her to the park on the first day, the beach on the second, and an educational activity on the third, but it didn’t go as planned. I wanted to take her to the library for a fun workshop, but when we got there, the library was closed because of a malfunctioning HVAC system. Although it was pleasant outside, I can understand why the library would have to close due to HVAC problems. The HVAC system offers proper ventilation in addition to heating and cooling. Furthermore, poor ventilation can make indoor air quality dangerous because it can allow pollutants to accumulate in the air. Breathing problems as well as other problems can develop over time as a result of inadequate ventilation. I ended up taking my niece to a museum that had a functional HVAC system since the workshop was abruptly cancelled.
