It’s really difficult to sell a home to an HVAC dealer

I work as a realtor here in town, and I’ve been selling homes to families in this part for well over 20 years now. I enjoy my job most of the time. It’s really fun and I enjoy to meet all kinds of new people and see all of the weird kinds of homes that come up for sale around here. It’s really my dream, honestly. I never knew how much I would enjoy being a real estate agent, but it’s really the best thing ever. Once in a while I have a difficult time with a shopper and I have noticed that it’s usually whenever I’m dealing with someone who in the HVAC business. It’s funny that this consistently happens to me, but every time I find out that I am working with a professional, I consistently dread what’s going to happen. It seems like nothing is ever good enough for these men when it comes to the heating and cooling systems in the homes that I show them. Most of the time, they start shaking their heads as soon as they see the type of furnace, cooling system, or whole home media air cleaner that’s installed in one of their potential homes. I guess they just don’t want to purchase a home that they will have to do any HVAC work on, which is understandable. But it really does end up becoming really discouraging for me whenever I have to show them various homes and then they never want to purchase anything because of the systems that are in the house!
