My sister has been living in a wonderful cabin for the past 3 years, and I admit I’m jealous.
When she first said she found a cabin for sale, I wasn’t sure about that.
It was in an area that was a bit remote, and I felt she was putting herself at risk. But, when I visited the area, I understood why she wanted to move there. It wasn’t as remote, and there were neighbors in the area. In addition, the views were amazing since the cabin was on a hilly area. There was a huge window in the kitchen that you could see the entire area below. We sat there one morning having coffee and I told her I also wanted to move there. She was quick to mention I had a home, husband and kids back at my house. Anyway, it’s been 3 years since she purchased the cabin, and now she is getting ready to install geothermal heating. In this part of the state, it’s better to go for geothermal heating which is so much more efficient. And the best part is that such a unit serves you for decades. This is why HVAC businesses are always advising homeowners to opt for geothermal heating. But, there’s a downside to it. You have to be ready to spend more than $20000 to install geothermal heating in your home. My sister did the inquiry at a local HVAC business and got a quote. That was 3 years ago, and now she had enough money saved up to get it installed in her home. Again I’m happy and jealous of her!
