My partner backed into the a/c unit.

I knew I shouldn’t have laughed, but my partner is always talking about how badly I drive.

  • She thinks it is funny to see me make mistakes, but she doesn’t know she makes any.

Last week, she was flustered about something that happened at work. She was pulling into the driveway and irritated because I hadn’t parked the vehicle properly. She readjusted her angle for pulling in. I heard him rev up, but before I could look out I heard a sound. My eyes were closed, and I was waiting for him to start screaming for me. When I looked where the vehicle was rammed into the a/c, I lowered my head. I didn’t want him to see the brightness of my eyes, or the laughter I was trying to hold in. With just a hint of sarcasm, I looked at him and asked who was the awful driver now, then ran into the house. She didn’t come into the house for almost an hour, even though I knew she was in the car. I called the Heating plus A/C supplier and asked them to send someone out to look at the a/c unit. I couldn’t keep from laughing when the secretary asked what happened. I’m sure everyone knew about my partner’s temper and now they knew about her driving into the air conditioner unit. What is easily funny, is that her best neighbor was the Heating plus A/C worker they sent to inspect the a/c unit. When Harry pulled in, my partner asked if I asked for him. I shook my head and told him no. I guessed it was luck that Harry would be the one to look at the a/c unit.
