Surviving a language course without air conditioning

It was last year that I decided to expand my horizons by taking a language course.

I´ve always been interested in learning a new language, so I was very excited to get started.

I couldn’t believe it when I found on the internet a free course in the language I wanted to learn. I immediately signed up and waited for the course to begin in a month’s time. The day the course began, I was so excited that I arrived 10 minutes early. As the class developed, I felt comfortable with my classmates, and I liked the teacher. The only problem was that the building lacked air conditioning. I was feeling the heat; an oscillating fan in the corner of the room provided some relief, but only when it pointed my way. A cooling system may not have been necessary if the course had taken place during the winter, but in the spring and summer, the temperature is just too hot and unbearable. That’s why I am always sure to service my residential HVAC during the hot months, because without quality a/c, life during the hot months would be awful. I managed to endure the hot classroom by bringing my portable fan with me and succeeded in learning a new language, something I´m very proud of. But it would have been a lot easier had the building been equipped with central air conditioning. The experience of learning a new language has been so gratifying that I am now looking to enroll in another language course, though this time I will want to make sure the rooms have proper climate control.
