I have a major pet peeve when it comes to the air filter of my central heating and air conditioner. I have to change the air filter at least once a month. Even if it seems as if it does not need to be changed, I change the air filter of my central heating and air conditioner anyhow. The reason I feel I must do this is because the air quality can benefit highly in your home from it. Having enjoyable air quality in your home is important and plays a big part in your indoor comfort. And they way I look at it, because I typically buy different brand air filters all of the time (whatever is on sale), you never know the quality of that air filter in terms of lifespan, so I know it is better to be safe than sorry and just change that air filter of the central heating and air conditioner component at least once a month! If you do that no matter how bad or good the air filters you buy are, it will guarantee that you will have enjoyable air quality coming out of your central heating and air conditioner component without the need of having a whole home air purifier! Of course, keeping your house clean helps air quality as well. But the air filter of your central heating and air conditioner plays a bigger part in your indoor air quality than you will even imagine or know!
