Milk in the HVAC duct

We had this buyer maintenance rep who used to work for us. I say that she used to work here because my good friend and I fired him 2 weeks ago. My friend and I had to. She was just terrible. She did things like flirt with the female customers and female coworkers, show up late almost every single shift, and she had absolutely awful hygiene. I mean this girl just smelled awful all of the time. So, finally enough was enough and my good friend and I fired him. However, about 2 days after she was fired my good friend and I noticed a absolutely awful smell start to develop in the office; People joked that the fired man’s ghost was haunting us; But that isn’t possible. My friend and I fired him. My friend and I didn’t kill him. Another day passed and the smell got absolutely bad. It seemed to be coming from the Heating & A/C vents. My friend and I had to turn off the a/c and use fans instead. That helped for every room except the buyer maintenance room, finally, a local Heating & A/C company came out and took a look at our HVAC duct. They found the smelly concern immediately. Apparently the girl my good friend and I fired put a small milk basket in the HVAC duct before she left. She must have unscrewed the vent cover, sited the open basket of milk inside, and then closed the vent back up. I believe she did this while cleaning out her desk. Whatever the case, it was intentional and gross. From now on, my good friend and I will have to watch people clean out their desks before they leave for the final time. I don’t want a smelly Heating & A/C system again.
