I own an HVAC company, and I can tell you from a lot of experience that it is difficult to find a good HVAC technician to work for my HVAC company.
I used to love running my own HVAC company.
When I was first starting out, I was the owner of the HVAC company, and I only had one HVAC technician working for me. The HVAC technician was one of my best friends, and I loved having him work for me. However, the HVAC company has grown, and now, I have to have a lot more HVAC technicians working for me. Obviously, it is a good thing that my HVAC company is growing, but it is hard to keep up with the growth because it is so hard to find good HVAC technicians. There are a lot of HVAC technicians that honestly do not want to work. These are the HVAC technicians that only became HVAC technicians because they wanted easy money. HVAC work is not easy, and a lot of these HVAC technicians will try to do as little work as they possibly can while earning money. It is very rare for me to find an HVAC technician with the drive to be impressive. I have never met an HVAC technician with any ambitions higher than collecting a paycheck every week. Why can’t I find good HVAC technicians to work for my HVAC company? I know that my HVAC company will never be truly great unless I find some HVAC technicians that actually have some drive. Who knows if I will ever be able to.
