There just doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day.
I know I’m not the first one to feel this way.
Nor will I be the last. However, I have figured out that sometimes you just have to have help. It pains me to ask for help and I need to work on that. But the fact is that I fall behind on everything when I try to do everything. So I’m turning over a new leaf by hiring a commercial cleaning company. Mostly, I can get by being my own cleaning lady. I’m able to do the normal maid service stuff that keeps my house neat and orderly. What I am not able to do is the deep cleaning that really needs to get done. This is just one of those things that continually falls off the list. I just can’t seem to find a weekend every few months to really deep clean my house in sections. Then it dawned on me that being my own cleaning lady was enough. Why should I sacrifice my precious weekends deep cleaning my house. That’s no way to recover from a long, demanding week at work. So I decided to get the help of an actual cleaning service. The first one I had ever hired. But they were going to do all the floor cleaning. From the floor stripping and waxing to the deep carpet cleaning that was so necessary. Once it was done, I couldn’t believe I hadn’t done this earlier. It was some of the best money I have ever spent.
