My bedroom is a complete mess.
- I cleaned the whole house to get rid of all the dust and a couple days later, it is back.
It worries me I have so much dust in our bedroom and in our house. Since I spend most of my time in the bedroom when I am home, I want it to be as clean as possible. I know that most of the issue is caused because I quit using HEPA air filters in our air conditioning unit. They were getting too high-priced since I wasn’t working at the moment and couldn’t afford it. Since the pandemic, they have cut our shifts short and I get fewer hours. I have now been working from home, so I don’t have to pay for as much gas. I also like being able to work in our pajamas. So, now I am at home more and I notice the dust more. I took a trip to the home improvement store and looked for a portable air purification unit, but that made little difference. I finally caved and called the Heating and Air Conditioning company. I wanted to believe that there was something they could do. They sent an Heating and Air Conditioning specialist to the house, and he did a thorough inspection. After half an hour, he told me that most of the problems we were having had nothing to do with the air filters, but with the HVAC duct. They had to bring in a team of professional HVAC duct cleaners who cleaned the entire system, repaired all the holes and cracks, and sanitized the entire system. I didn’t realize how much dirty HVAC duct could affect our home’s cleanliness.
