I treat my body like a temple and I only eat nutritious foods that are free of preservatives and additives.
I exercise every day and I don’t smoke or do drugs.
I try to keep my body fit, because I have a low immune system. I’ve had problems all of my life, but my most recent issue has been allergies. It seems like I am allergic to something new every six months. I was 23 when I found out that I was suddenly allergic to peanuts. I ate a peanut butter sandwich one day for lunch and my throat started to swell up like a big balloon. I know what an allergic reaction feels like and I always carry an Epipen in my work bag. The adrenaline helped stop the swelling and I went to the emergency room. I couldn’t finish the ductless HVAC installation I was working on. When I called my boss, the guy acted like I was faking the allergy attack to get out of finishing the ductless HVAC installation. I told my boss to call the emergency room if he didn’t think I was telling the truth. I have no idea if the guy ever called the hospital, but I was there for three hours before they let me go home. I never went back to the ductless HVAC installation. I went home right after the ER visit to rest. The ER wanted me to set up an appointment with the allergy specialist and they didn’t let me go until I had proof that it was done. Peanut allergies are not the kind of allergies that can be ignored.
