It’s pretty crazy how I met my wife.
I decided to go on this historic hiking trail, and I had her as the tour guide.
She also owned a little souvenir shop at the beginning of the hiking trail. We actually had an immediate spark when we first met, and I thought she was something special. One of the first things she did was give me what is called a cooling hat. You basically just get it wet, preferably with cold water as that will provide the best cooling effect. Then when you are hiking in the heat of the day, you don’t feel nearly as overheated. Well, of course after hiking all day, you get really tired and you easily run out of water. When we went back to the souvenir shop where there is air conditioning, unfortunately the A/C unit was not working. Luckily, I am an HVAC technician, so I was able to solve the issue with the A/C with the tools she had available in the back. She couldn’t believe that I was able to get the cooling system to work with such great ease. She said that she had been experiencing issues with that A/C system for the longest time until I came around. She explained that it was expensive to have an HVAC professional come all the way out there. I told her that whenever she wanted, I would be there to help with any heating or cooling troubles. I actually ended up installing a ductless mini split and a solar panel system to hook it up to. The solar panels also covered all of the electricity in the shop.
