There are few things I do not like worse than being cold.
So it may surprise many to learn that I live where the Winter is legitimately cold & lasts nearly 6 weeks. But when you fall in love, you simply go with your mate. That’s what happened to me. I’m from the south & air conditioner was our main Heating & A/C concern. But I met the love of our life when I was in school. And the two of us chose to settle down & raise a family near where he grew up. This was a big, sizable change for me. The Winter has been something that took a long time to get accustomed to. Even now, almost 30 years later, I still can’t kneel to be cold. Yet, I have l acquired how to keep myself warm. A sizable section of that is the Heating & A/C heating in our homes. Up until recently, the two of us have constantly had a gas furnace. They do a great task of heating a house, that’s for sure. However, those homes were never cozy enough for me to sit around in shorts or anything. That would have cost far too much in utilities to have the control component that high. But the two of us just built a new condo & the two of us chose an Heating & A/C component that uses radiant floor heating. And it has changed our life. Our new idea is far more efficient than anything the two of us have ever owned when it comes to Heating & A/C equipment. Plus, I get to go back to our roots with the radiant floor heating. Now, I can at least roll around our house in our bare feet thanks to the radiant floor heating.
