I didn't see the sign to stop at the end of the street

A regular customer called the HV AC repair shop because she needed someone to repair the boiler in her home.

I was assigned to help the customer with the HVAC repair.

I left the shop around 9 in the morning. The address was a short 25 minute drive from the repair shop. I wasted no time evaluating the condition of the boiler. The customer was happy when she found out that a repair was going to fix the problem. She was certainly worried that the system needed to be replaced. I spent about three or four hours working on the boiler repair. I was hungry and tired when I left the house of the customer. I drove to the end of the street and proceeded to turn right. I didn’t see any stop sign, because it was covered with trees. The police officer didn’t like that excuse when he pulled me over in the next parking lot. I was being honest at that time. I didn’t see the stop sign and it was covered with trees and bushes. The police officer didn’t even give me a warning, which should have been a courtesy considering I was at work. That guy better hope he doesn’t call our shop for help with the heat or air conditioning system, because I might pull a couple of wires and break it even further. I was really mad about the ticket and I felt that he was totally unfair. I wanted to get out of my car and walk back to the sign, but the officer threatened to pull his weapon unless I remained seated.
