It’s my first time replacing a furnace filter after moving up north following decades in heat

Unlike most of my friends as well as coworkers, my family never moved from our aged home in the southeast.

I was raised there as well as my parents are still there despite both being 72 years old. In all of those years I never knew anything else, as we rarely went traveling beyond state lines. Naturally, I was ready to leave once I reached middle school age. I applied to schools all over the country as well as only 1 nearby as a safety school. When I was accepted in my first option school, I was elated. Since it was in another state in the south, I didn’t have to adjust to a new temperature, simply a unusual town as well as a changed socio-demographic. But I wasn’t as fortunate when I graduated from college as well as entered the workforce four years later. To retain a task as well as support myself, I had to transport again, but this time I would be venturing far northward to a state as well as temperature I had never experienced before, and moving in early summer time gave myself and others some time to adjust to my new home before the Fall as well as Winter onslaught. As hot as well as cold temperatures dropped quickly in early October, I knew that I would be in for a rough experience, but had no conception for exactly how bad it was going to be. By the first month of December I was ready to give up as well as leave. The entire month of September was spent huddled under a blanket with thick clothing on. Unfortunately, hot as well as cold temperatures continued to drop well into December as well as early March. I also had to learn about replacing a furnace filter & my proper A/C filter. It’s my first time dealing with a filter for a oil furnace.
