When we bought this house, our wife and I were both super intrigued about the unattached garage with an apartment above it.
The little apartment would be perfect for guests or even just a place for us.

They came out and told us that a single ductless heat pump should do the job of heating and cooling that apartment. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker made short work of installing the ductless heat pump. And now, we have a truly nice, private place for going to see family and friends to stay when they are here. I have to say that I was truly amazed at the power of that ductless heat pump. It truly did the job for that apartment. Even in our super boiling summers, the ductless heat pump keeps the garage apartment nice and cool.
