I wasn’t too thrilled when I sprained my ankle not so long ago.
It was hard to walk on my foot and everybody urged me to use a crutch, so I did.
I ended up going to the hospital with my crutch. I honestly don’t mind going to the hospital so much because I love how they crank the A/C system like they do at the movie theatre. Anyway, the doctor checked me out and did some tests, including x-rays. I was happy to learn that I didn’t break any bones, but my ligaments were stretched a little bit. So I basically had to take off a few weeks from work and rest my foot as much as possible. I also had an ankle brace put on to keep everything stable for improved healing time. It wasn’t so bad resting at home with the A/C system on just the right settings. The thing that made me the most happy though was when my brother brought me a new thermostat. It’s actually a smart thermostat and he took care of the installation and everything. I mean, it seemed easy enough. I probably could have installed the thing on my own if I wasn’t injured. He insisted that I just relax in bed and told me to install a certain smart app to connect to the thermostat when it was installed. I was so happy when the smart thermostat was working and I was able to adjust the temperature control settings from my bed, or anywhere in the house for that matter. It made everything so much easier for me and even my energy bills went down which was surprising to me.
