When my partner and I bought our residence I was relatively disgusted with the lavatories we had! The master lavatory and main lavatory had a similar look.
They had the same vinyl floor, horrendous vanity, beige brick and stained grout.
I decided to gut the master lavatory for something more enjoyable. I changed it to a penny floor, a marble top vanity and a glass shower enclosure. I looked at my new lavatory. I didn’t want to spend money to gut the other lavatory. I didn’t want it to look like an eye-sore in my house though. It was an ugly spot in the residence for sure. I started with a little paint, however painting the walls, ceiling and vanity was an amazing start. I even bought a new toilet, switch plates, lights and knobs for the vanity. It undoubtedly did class it up to some level. The stained grout killed me though. I hated that none of my cleaners did anything about it. I tried a pale white paint designed for grout and it did not last long! Online I started looking for varying solutions and that is how I was able to find a cleaning company that does brick and grout cleaning. I wasn’t especially optimistic. I thought the grout was seriously beyond saving. I figured hiring out brick and grout cleaning near me was truly cheaper than doing a full lavatory remodel. I wasn’t expecting them to actually change the look of my lavatory! They undoubtedly got the pale white grout especially clean. It looks a nice shade of white again. The beige brick no longer looks horrible and has streaks in it. The shower shines and cleans up nicer nowadays. They even managed to convince me to do vinyl flooring restoration and that was totally worth it! My lavatory almost looks as wonderful as new after that cleaning.
