My friends and I got together to watch the football playoffs.
We had a party at my place on the first weekend when we watched the Wildcard games. My girlfriend and I spent the day before the games cleaning our home and making hors d’oeuvres and appetizers. We wanted everything to be perfect. I decided to go to the liquor store and I bought several bottles of alcohol. I also went to the beer distributor and bought a half keg. Our whole day was filled with fun and activities. We enjoyed watching all of the games with our friends and our favorite teams did very well. All of them one except one team. My girlfriend and I we’re happy when the last person finally went home. It had been a long day and both of us wanted to crash on the bed and sleep for hours. Unfortunately, shortly after our friends left we had a problem with the heat pump and AC system. No warm air was coming out of the ductwork when the heat pump was running. The house was getting colder and colder with each minute and hour that passed. I told my girlfriend that our best bet would be to call a repair service now instead of waiting until the morning. It cost an extra $50 to have an emergency repair technician come out at night, but my girlfriend and I did not mind spending the extra money. We didn’t want to wake up in the morning without any heat in the house. It was best to handle the problem right away.
