If there is one thing I really hate, it’s dry skin.
Nothing drives me crazier than having dry skin, because your skin is supposed to feel soft and smooth, not rough and flaky.
I can’t even begin to describe how much dry skin bothers me, it’s like this itch I can’t scratch, and the only way to fix it is to get rid of the dry skin. Usually what I do is put on a generous amount of lotion, as well as attempt to keep the humidity up. Unfortunately, it is really difficult to keep the humidity up where I live. So I usually have to go through bottles and bottles of lotion to prevent the dry skin from happening. I even have a humidifier to help with the humidity, but that only works temporarily. I have been thinking about moving down to the more humid states, so that way dry skin won’t be an issue. Another bonus of moving down to the warmer states is that I won’t have to worry about cold winters anymore. That is a big bonus to me, because I am not really a fan of the really cold weather either. Unfortunately, as much as I like the idea of moving far away from this place, it’s just not feasible right now. I will need to stay here at least another 2 years while I wait to finish college and graduate, but it gives me something to look forward to. I think I will be a lot happier once my dry skin issue is gone.
