He plugged the AC component into the extension cord to make sure that it did not work
My husbandy & I bought a modern window AC component for the house. The people I was with and I bought the window AC component back in December when everything was on sale. I never bothered to plug in the AC component to make sure that it would work. It was a $350 machine. I did not think there was any real way that it would not work. When our husbandy & I were getting ready for the Summer weather, we got the air conditioner out of the garage & I set it up in the window. I inspected all of the upgrade before I even turned on the component 1 time. I suppose that was a substantial mistake on our part. If I had checked first, then I would not have gone through all of the preparation before realizing there was a problem. I had to take the whole assembly apart after the AC component wasn’t toiling. I took the component to the hardware store. I told the clerk that I bought it back in December; He asked myself and others if I had the receipt. I suppose he expected myself and others to say no, however I keep meticulous records & I did have the receipt. The clerk said he was going to get an extension cord. He plugged the AC component into the extension cord to make sure that it did not work. I don’t suppose if he thought that I was silly or stupid, however I legitimately can tell when a component is or is not toiling. The clerk tried a couple of peculiar ways to turn the component on, however it was no use, nothing helped at all. The clerk had to refund the money I paid for the AC unit.
