Pets and Animals don’t usually cause myself and others to feel fearful, but yesterday was most unusual.
I went to an apartment to job on their gas furnace, and knew ahead of time that they had a huge cat.
That pet wasn’t just any huge cat… It looked like a jungle cat! He stood in the window when I got to the house, and that window was at least five feet off the ground. He was looking out at me, and I could see the drool coming off his mouth. I could hear the cat growl and scratch at the door when I rang the doorbell. I heard a man yell to someone to get the cat under control while he got the Heating and A/C professional into the house, and my legs were shaking and I was trembling at the thought of going inside that house. When I got inside, a person was holding onto the cat and he was jumping. I stayed behind the man until every one of us got to the basement door, and then he pushed myself and others inside and closed the door. He tried to tell myself and others the cat wasn’t dangerous, although he liked to play and I looked care about a current friend. I wasn’t overly fond of big cats, and this single 1 seemed dangerous. When I got done with the gas furnace, I knocked on the door, and the same man opened it. I saw the cat come rushing around the door. I didn’t even get to the door when the immense cat pounced on me. He licked our face so much that I could feel the slobber coming down our cheek. I found out I wasn’t the only Heating and A/C professional who was attacked by this cat and nearly drowned by his drool while being licked nearly to death.
