I was on our way to maintenance a gas furnace for a family, however they had many little youngsters who weren’t even in school yet, and the husband said there was no heating, my heart went out to the couple because I had many youngsters under the age of six.
It was snowing so difficult that I couldn’t see in front of me, and I was worried I wouldn’t get to the house to maintenance the gas furnace. I called another Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker and asked him if he could get to the house. He lived less than a block from their home, and I wanted someone to get there to repair the gas furnace before the house cooled off completely. The husband assured myself and others they had plenty of blankets and a couple of space heaters, however they had to stay in one room. My neighbor told myself and others he could be there in 5 minutes, even if he had to walk, and an hour later, he called myself and others back and told myself and others the gas furnace couldn’t be repaired that night. He had set the space furnaces in the basement to keep the pipes from cold and bundled up the youngsters. He was taking all 5 of them to his house until the gas furnace was repaired. I knew I had called the right person to take care of that gas furnace, not only could he take care of the gas furnace, even though he had a crucial heart. He wouldn’t let that family kneel in a cold house for a couple of hours, and genuinely not for a couple of mornings.
