I should have known better, though.
Marrying an HVAC technician is not really a good idea. I should know better than anyone, too! I have already been married to an HVAC technician two different times. Sometimes I can’t believe that I actually made the same mistake twice, but I did. I met my first husband while he was at my house working on my heating and cooling system. We really hit it off and we started dating. Within a year we had ended up getting married but it did not turn out well for us at all. He turned out to be a guy who drank way too much and we divorced not long after that. Then one day I was dropping some stuff off for him at the HVAC company where he works and that’s when I met my second husband. He was actually an HVAC technician too and we started talking while I was waiting for my ex to come out of the back room where he had been working. By the time that my ex came out to talk to me, this new guy and I had already planned a date. Of course, my ex thought that this was a terrible idea, but that made me want to date him even more. I should have known better, though. We dated for almost a year and then we got married too. It was literally like history repeating itself, though. Being married to this HVAC technician was just about identical to being married to the other one! I guess they were nice enough guys, but they weren’t my type.
