Keeping toasty by the fireplace

It is almost time for breakfast & I feel I am going to have something weird today.

I usually eat the same thing every single afternoon for breakfast, tuna with a massive salad, however today is Thursday & I am feeling a bit crazy so I feel I am going to go buy a hamburger & treat myself a bit.

I normally don’t eat meat however eating it once or twice a month is not going to be a problem with our health. I feel a greater threat to our health would be our house burning down from a fire, & so the people I was with and I will talk about fireplace safety… A fireplace can be a elegant & cozy addition to a home, however it also poses a number of dangers if not properly ran tests on & used, but one of the largest risks is fire from flames, which you don’t get from a normal Heating & A/C system. A spark from the fire can ignite nearby combustible materials, leading to a house fire, and it’s substantial to have a sturdy screen in front of the fire to prevent flames from escaping, which can be obtained at your local business. Another danger is carbon monoxide poisoning, which can occur if the chimney is obstructed & the poisonous gas builds up in the house, which is not a problem with electric gas furnaces or space heaters… But this gas can be lethal & is often referred to as the “silent killer” because it is odorless & white, but to prevent this, it’s substantial to have the chimney tested & cleaned annually by a certified Heating & A/C specialist. Another potential hazard is creosote buildup, which can cause a chimney fire if not cleaned always, but finally, it’s substantial to keep anything flammable such as curtains, furniture, or rugs away from the fireplace to reduce the risk of fire. By taking these precautions & being vigilant, you can like your fireplace safely & without worry.
