There is a lot of snow on my HVAC unit

Every year this happens and I feel that I’m not always fully prepared.

I should realize by now our winters can be rough at times but I play it off like they are not that bad. A severe blizzard recently hit our area. Many people were forced to stay at home and in some cases even miss work because of the heavy snowfall. There were snow piles on my central heating and air conditioning system unit as a result of this really bad blizzard. Because of this, my central heating and air conditioning system unit started to make some odd noises. I believe the problem may have been that the weight of the snow on the central heating and air conditioning system unit was causing it to operate at an excessively high rate of speed because there may have been a strain on the fan and motor. Thankfully, it stopped doing this once the snow had all melted away. Otherwise, I would have had to call my neighborhood heating and cooling company to arrange for the dispatch of a licensed HVAC technician to inspect my central heating and cooling system unit. And I wouldn’t have wanted to have to spend any extra money for that! I’m therefore pleased to see that all of my central heating and air conditioning system’s noise issues have been resolved since the snow has melted. However, if it had continued to snow, I might have had a serious problem and would have been forced to call the nearby heating and air conditioning company to have my central heating and cooling system unit fixed.
