The winter is coming and that means another couple of months of terribly cold weather. I really don’t think the cold weather, but I live in an area of the country that gets about ten inches of snow each year. I have lived here my whole life and for some reason I still can’t get used to the cold and snow each year. Most people try to prepare for the cold season months in advance, but I am not one of those people. I don’t go out and buy warm clothes or space heaters for my house and I definitely don’t get regular maintenance on my heating system. I have a very old furnace and I know that I should be better about getting is serviced, but I just don’t want to have to pay extra money for someone to come out to my house to tell me there is a problem. I know that this isn’t a good way to think about it because I will have to pay more to a HVAC company in the end, but it has been working for me so far. I really don’t think have people come out to my house either. So for now I am just going to keep using my old furnace and hope for the best this winter season! I think that as long as I have a positive attitude about it that everything will work out just fine for me. Fingers crossed that this logic works or else I am going to have to pay a lot of money to a HVAC company.
