I am going to visit my parents this weekend… I am enthusiastic because I have not seen them in out six months.
This is not because I don’t want to however just because I have a deranged labor schedule plus three kids to deal with as well, and however, it is time for the children to go visit their Grandparents, it entirely has been far too long! My parents live about eight hours away, so it is not a quick drive my any means.
It is also entirely taxing to travel with three small children, however at least my hubby will be able to make this trip with me, last time she was unable to because she could not get away from work, and while I do love to see my parents, there is one thing that I am not super enthusiastic about. They live in a much older home than we do, they have paid it off so they are not interested in moving anytime soon. This old apartment also has a entirely old Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. I guess they never change their air conditioner filter vents either so the air circulation in the apartment is almost non existent. It is entirely hard to breathe because the air feels so musty plus dust is constantly swirling around. I don’t know why they are so keen on residing like this, but I have tried time plus time again to get them to call a Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist to come plus update their heating plus cooling system. They do not want to spend the money, but I think it is worth it to have a better air filtration system.
