The kids wanted to go to the drive-in theater to see the new Pixar film.
- I wasn’t particularly interested in going to the drive-in, because it was 90° outside & the humidity was terrible.
I knew that we were going to be annoyed at the drive-in until the sunlight went down. I took the kids & we got to the theater around 7:15. The first show was supposed to beginning at 8:30 or sundown. It was very sizzling outside. The kids were going to stand outside, however they wanted to stay in the car. I told them it was going to be sizzling & they did not know me. Both of us ran the A/C in the automobile for a while, other people had their cars running with the A/C as well. When the sunlight went down, the temperature started to drop & it was much cooler & more comfortable inside of the car. By 9:30 p.m., I had the off & the windows rolled down. One nice thing about living in this section is the fact that it consistently gets cooler When the Sun Goes down. Both of us had to run the A/C while the sunlight was out however there were a couple of times that I shivered after the sunlight went down. The new Pixar film was very funny & the kids & I laughed a lot. The film was better than I thought it was going to be & I was cheerful that we opted to go to the drive-in to see it instead of waiting for the film to come out on DVD.
